Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly considering submitting an official transfer request in order to force through a move to Chelsea.
Antonio Conte is believed to be keen to add Lukaku to his squad in West London, but the four-time Premier League champions are struggling to agree on a fee with Everton.
It has been reported that the Merseyside outfit will not budge on a £75m asking price, but Chelsea are preparing a £68m offer after having an initial £57m bid rejected.
Lukaku made just one Premier League start during a three-year spell at Chelsea before he left permanently to Everton for £28m in 2014.
Despite his disappointing stint at Stamford Bridge, the Belgium international wants to move back to play under Conte, and is pondering whether or not to lodge a transfer request, according to the London Evening Standard.
Lukaku reportedly feels conflicted as he does not want to upset the Everton supporters who have stood by him, but the club have accepted that he wants to leave.
