Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has hinted that Florent Malouda and Jeremy Toulalan could be on their way back to the Stade de Gerland.
Malouda has been frozen out at Chelsea and is unhappy at being made to train with the the youth team.
"Our door is always open to former players," ESPN quotes Aulas as saying.
"Malouda has been in contact with our coaching team very recently. We've also spoken with Jeremy Toulalan who has been having problems at Malaga."
The French international spent four years with Les Gones before his 2007 move to Chelsea.
