Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel has admitted that he is unsure whether he will be remaining with the Blues behind the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
The 27-year-old has not turned out for Chelsea since the beginning of the 2013-14 season, spending time on loan with AC Milan, Stoke City and PSV Eindhoven in recent years.
Van Ginkel has not made a competitive appearance since May 2018, though, having struggled to overcome a cruciate knee ligament injury, which led to a number of issues.
The midfielder's current deal with Frank Lampard's side will expire at the end of June, but the Netherlands international has suggested that he could yet remain with the Premier League club.
"We haven't had contact about that yet, but other things are of course more important now. I will hear it when the moment arrives," Van Ginkel told PSV TV.
The Dutchman has only made four first-team appearances for his current team.
