Napoli are reportedly keen to reopen contract negotiations with Elseid Hysaj after the right-back's agent confirmed that Chelsea have showed an interest.
Hysaj, who has previously worked under Maurizio Sarri at Napoli and Empoli, is considered a January transfer target for the Blues.
The Albania international has slipped behind Kevin Malcuit in the Stadio San Paolo pecking order, but club president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently suggested that a sale would not be considered.
Corrie dello Sport suggests that De Laurentiis will now push ahead with plans to offer Hysaj a new long-term deal in an attempt to fend off the interest from Sarri's Chelsea.
The same report indicates that Piotr Zielinski and Nikola Maksimovic are also in line for new contracts.
