Paul Pogba has claimed that he never had any intention of leaving Juventus in the summer transfer window.
The French midfielder was repeatedly linked with both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain before the close of the window, while reports have suggested that the 22-year-old is keen on a switch to Barcelona in the future.
However, Pogba insists that he is content with his role as a key player for the Italian champions.
"Why would I not stay? I didn't have any motive to go, it wasn't the right time," he told reporters.
"It was never clear that I would leave and there's no reason I can't continue here for longer, let's see."
Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has previously suggested that Pogba could cost a club around £72m.
