Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech in the January transfer window.
The experienced stopper lost his place in the Chelsea XI this season after Thibaut Courtois, who spent the last three seasons on loan with Atletico, returned to Stamford Bridge.
Now, Atletico want to bring Cech, who joined the Blues from Rennes in 2004, to the Vicente Calderon when the winter window opens, according to Star Sunday.
The Spanish champions signed Miguel Moya and Jan Oblak to fill their two goalkeeping positions in the summer, but Oblak has thus far struggled to settle.
Cech is said to be keen on leaving Chelsea in the New Year to seek regular first-team football.
