Chelsea have reportedly switched focus to Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen in their search for a new first-choice goalkeeper.
The Blues are rumoured to be on the lookout for an experienced stopper to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has failed to win over boss Frank Lampard.
Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer and Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid have already been touted as possible targets, but Mundo Deportivo claims that Ter Stegen may now be top of Lampard's wishlist.
Chelsea are said to be closely monitoring the Netherlands international's talks with Barca over a new deal, with his existing terms due to expire at the end of the 2021-22 season.
Lampard's side have already spent big this year to bring in Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, but the report indicates that the West London outfit are willing to splash out even more if it means landing a world-class goalkeeper.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Lampard urged Kepa - the world's most expensive keeper at £71.5m - to prove that he can be a success at Stamford Bridge.
