Report: Chelsea eyeing up move for Marcus Bettinelli

:Headline: Report: Chelsea eyeing up move for Marcus Bettinelli:
Former Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli may reportedly be on his way to Chelsea to provide cover for Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Chelsea are looking to bring in Marcus Bettinelli as a third-choice goalkeeper for the coming season, according to a report.

The Blues need further cover between the posts, as Willy Caballero and Jamal Blackman recently left the club following the expiration of their contracts.

That leaves Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga as the only two recognised senior goalkeepers for Thomas Tuchel to choose from this coming campaign.

However, The Telegraph claims that cover will soon be brought in, with former Fulham stopper Bettinelli expected to arrive on a free transfer.

Bettinelli spent last season on loan with Middlesbrough in the Championship and appeared seven times in the Premier League with Fulham in 2018-19. body check tags ::
