Chelsea are believed to be in discussions with Fiorentina over the potential signing of Juan Cuadrado.
The Colombian winger was linked with Manchester United and Barcelona after impressing at the 2014 World Cup, but stayed in Italy over the summer.
He has been the subject of further speculation this transfer window and Sky Sports News now claims that official talks with Chelsea have begun.
Cuadrado, 26, has scored 20 goals in 84 league appearances for Fiorentina, who will reportedly demand nothing less than his £26.8m release clause.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho hinted earlier this month that he may be looking to bring in a wideman by claiming that he would only allow Egyptian flyer Mohamed Salah to leave if a replacement was acquired.
