Chelsea will reportedly tempt Mason Mount to remain at Stamford Bridge by promoting the young midfielder into the first-team squad.
The 19-year-old confessed earlier this week that his future may lie away from West London, amid talk that he is wanted by Dutch giants Ajax.
Mount caught the eye during his debut campaign in senior football while on loan at Vitesse, playing a direct part in 21 goals from just 30 Eredivisie appearances.
Rather than cash in on one of their emerging talents, however, The Sun reports that Chelsea have asked the England Under-19s international to report back to Cobham for pre-season training.
A decision will then be made whether to integrate Mount alongside the likes of Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas from next season, although a host of Premier League and Championship clubs have already made their interest known in a loan deal.
