Chelsea will reportedly make a bid of £60m for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann this summer.
The Blues are making the Frenchman their top target as they line up a replacement for unsettled midfielder Eden Hazard, who is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Atletico are facing a transfer ban in the next two windows, although FIFA has granted a suspension of the ban pending its appeal investigation.
The delay may give the Spanish side a small window to conduct transfer business this summer and according to the Daily Mail, they are planning to cash in on their prize asset and mount a speedy rebuilding operation in order to see them through the length of the ban.
Hazard has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and big-spending Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks.
