Chelsea are reportedly hoping to land West Ham United striker Enner Valencia before the transfer window slams shut next week.
Jose Mourinho recently suggested that he was happy with his current group of players and would not be delving into the market ahead of Monday's deadline.
However, speculation has mounted over the past few days claiming that a bid could be made for Shakhtar Donetsk forward Douglas Costa, while Juan Cuadrado of Fiorentina is also said to be on the club's radar.
Valencia, who joined West Ham from Mexican club Pachuca last summer following an impressive showing at the World Cup, is also being tracked by Mourinho, with The Metro reporting that a £21m bid will be made in the coming days.
It is also rumoured that Chelsea could offer Loic Remy to the Hammers in exchange for Valencia, which may force the East London outfit's hand.
