Chelsea teenager Nathan Ake is reportedly poised to reject a loan move to Vitesse Arnhem.
The 18-year-old left-back, who made his first Premier League start in the Blues' final game of last season, had been offered to the Dutch club, where a number of Chelsea players have gained senior team experience since 2010.
However, according to The Mirror, Ake has told manager Jose Mourinho that he wants to remain in England and would prefer to play in the Championship rather than be sent overseas.
Ake was born in the Netherlands and had spells at ADO Den Haag and Feyenoord before moving to Stamford Bridge in 2011.
