Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has reportedly indicated that he would like to keep Michy Batshuayi at Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi moved to the Blues in 2016, but the Belgium international made just 18 starts and 35 substitute outings under Antonio Conte before being loaned out to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of the last campaign.
Valencia are said to be interested in striking a similar deal for the 24-year-old, but according to the London Evening Standard, Sarri is keen to avoid parting ways with the striker.
Chelsea have been linked with a number of attacking additions this summer, but it appears that Sarri rates Batshuayi and views the player as a key part of his first-team squad.
Reports have also suggested that Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud could leave the West Londoners this summer, but each of the club's current frontmen may all remain with the Blues.
