The agent of Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva has described Chelsea as a "big club" amid rumours of a potential transfer.
The 32-year-old, who has also been linked with a return to AC Milan, will come to the end of his contract at PSG next summer if the team fail to qualify for the Champions League.
Silva's representative Paulo Tonietto may have alerted potential suitors after admitting that he and his client are not discussing a new deal with the Ligue 1 giants.
"Chelsea are a big club, and the English league is the best in the world," Tonietto told Sport Witness. "We're not negotiating a new contract, let's see what happens before December.
"Thiago's deal ends on June 30, 2017 if PSG don't qualify for the Champions League. Everything is possible in football."
Silva, who recently returned to action after recovering from a hip injury, joined PSG from Milan in 2012 after spending three years at San Siro.
