Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for two clubs in La Liga.
Despite making 342 appearances for the Blues during a hugely successful period at Stamford Bridge, Azpilicueta has struggled for form during the opening weeks of the new Premier League campaign.
While the 30-year-old remains in the starting lineup, manager Frank Lampard is expected to hand opportunities to youngster Reece James once he has recovered from an ankle injury.
According to The Sun, that possible development has led to Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad identifying the right-back as a potential future addition.
Azpilicueta is able to represent Bilbao having been born in the Basque region, while Sociedad would be able to offer him regular first-team football.
The Spain international has just under three years remaining on his contract at the Premier League side.
