Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly submitted a €30m (£27m) offer for Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes.
The 22-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with Everton, Chelsea and Napoli among the clubs credited with an interest.
Magalhaes had been in strong form for Lille before the 2019-20 Ligue 1 campaign was brought to a close, while he also featured in each of their six Champions League group-stage fixtures.
According to Fichajes, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of the centre-back, and the capital giants have placed a €30m (£27m) offer on the table ahead of this summer's transfer window.
Tottenham were allegedly only initially willing to spend €20m (£18m) on the Brazilian but have submitted a higher bid due to the competition for his signature.
The Premier League side are expected to be in the market for at least one new centre-back this summer as experienced Belgian Jan Vertonghen prepares to move on ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
