The agent of Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel has claimed that his client, currently on loan at AC Milan, will not be returning to Stamford Bridge in January.
The 21-year-old has only started one game for the Rossoneri this season, which has led to speculation that he might be recalled to West London ahead of schedule.
However, the Daily Star quotes Karel Jansen as saying: "Things are proceeding according to plan and there are no promises that haven't been kept.
"Filippo Inzaghi does his work and we have no intention of interfering with his choices. Marco's job is to continue working and make sure he is ready when called upon.
"Will he return to Chelsea in January? That is false too, it's completely untrue. My client will remain with the Rossoneri."
Van Ginkel signed for Chelsea in 2013, but a serious knee injury limited him to just four appearances last term.
