Ramires has expressed his desire to hold a meeting with Brazil national team coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.
News of the 26-year-old's wish has been made known following quotes from the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation Jose Maria Marin, who has insisted that the Chelsea midfielder would not be considered for next year's World Cup squad.
It is believed that Marin was unhappy that Ramires missed a series of medical check-ups ahead of the recent Confederations Cup, but the player himself has claimed that his absence was the result of a "big misunderstanding".
"I've been playing professionally for eight years. The moment when Scolari excluded me from the Confederations Cup was the hardest in these eight years," Ramires told reporters.
"There is a big misunderstanding. I didn't avoid a medical organised by them; I simply wasn't informed about it.
"I request a special meeting with Scolari to explain to him everything that happened. It was never my intention to make troubles."
Ramires has made 34 appearances at senior international level.
