Cheltenham Town's hopes of reaching the League Two playoffs have taken a blow after being held to a 1-1 draw against Wycombe Wanderers at Whaddon Road this evening.
The away side had the ball in the back of the net in the fourth minute, but Steven Craig's effort was ruled out for a foul on Steve Elliott.
Terry Gornell came close for Cheltenham when he drove through the midfield, before dragging his strike wide of the goal.
Wycombe then had a great chance to take the lead when Max Kretzschmar latched on to Matt Bloomfield's header and forced a save from Scott Brown.
Kretzschmar threatened again for the visitors minutes before the break, as his free kick was pushed wide by Brown.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 68th minute when Byron Harrison headed home from Sido Jombati's cross.
Their lead didn't last long, as 11 minutes later Dean Morgan scored from the penalty spot following Elliott's foul on Jo Kuffour to earn Wycombe a point.
