Roma coach Zdenek Zeman has refused to attend the post-match press conference following his team's 1-0 defeat to Chievo.
It was a frustrating afternoon for the Giallorossi, as Sergio Pellissier swooped late to break their hearts, despite suspicions of offside.
According to sporting director Franco Baldini, who stepped in in Zeman's absence, the Czech tactician was angry with a number of refereeing decisions and did not want to say something that he may later regret.
The former England number two also believes that Roma did enough to earn a point at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi.
"Zeman has opted not to come to the press conference today," Baldini told reporters. "He said he'd be happier not talking.
"Some things didn't sit well with him and he didn't want to stir up controversy. The offside goal wasn't the only incident.
"Roma tried to take the initiative and perhaps the right result would've been a draw."
Roma sit sixth in Serie A.
