Sergio Pellissier scored a last-minute winner as Chievo claimed a 2-1 victory against Cesena this afternoon to move off the bottom of the Serie A table.
The hosts started the game strongly and Alessandro Gamberini had an early chance when his header from close range was kept out by Nicola Leali.
In the 48th minute Chievo made the breakthrough, as Ivan Radovanovic's strike landed perfectly for Pellissier inside the box and the striker kept his composure to slide an effort into the corner.
With two minutes of the game remaining the visitors levelled the scores when Milan Djuric's long-range strike deflected off Bostjan Cesar, before looping over the keeper and into the net.
However, in the final minute Pellissier got his second of the match when he headed in Nicola Bellomo's free kick to steal the points for his side.
