Arturo Vidal has claimed that Chile boast the requisite quality to reach this summer's World Cup final.
The South Americans cruised to a 3-1 win over Australia in their Group B opener, before dumping reigning champions Spain out of the tournament in their second fixture.
The win over Vicente del Bosque's side came at the Maracana in Rio, and Vidal believes that his teammates can return to the famous stadium on July 13 for the final.
"If we play the same way all tournament as we did against Spain, we can make it all the way to final," Vidal told reporters.
"But of course you have to prove that you can really live up to your own expectations."
Chile battle the Netherlands this evening to determine who moves into the second round as group winners.
