Scott McManus scores to give Clyde a 1-0 win over East Fife that moves them off the bottom of Scottish League Two.

Clyde moved off the bottom of Scottish League Two with a 1-0 win over East Fife at the Bayview Stadium this afternoon.

The home side started strongly, and seven minutes in Ross Brown's rifled effort from outside the box flew narrowly over the bar.

Fraser Mullen went close 10 minutes later, before Jon McShane also tested Alan Martin in the Clyde goal.

However, Clyde took the lead on 37 minutes when Scott McManus applied the finish to Brian McQueen's cross.

McManus could have doubled his side's lead eight minutes after the restart, but his effort was saved by Martin.

East Fife had Ewan Moyes sent off for a second bookable offence as they searched for an equaliser, but Clyde held on to secure a win that moves them off the bottom of Scottish League Two.
