Leyton Orient have recorded their best ever start to a league season by picking up their fifth consecutive victory with a 2-1 win over Colchester United.
The visitors got off to the perfect start courtesy of David Mooney - a former Colchester loanee - who fired passed goalkeeper Sam Walker after 15 minutes.
Russell Slade's men would not have the lead for long, though, as the hosts grew in confidence and enjoyed a wealth of possession, before the dominance paid dividends through Jabo Ibehre.
The former Orient striker was found in the box by Craig Eastmond, before rifling a shot past goalkeeper Jamie Jones.
The Londoners, who are yet to drop a point in League One thus far, kept alive their hopes of preserving their perfect start to the season through another Colchester old boy, Kevin Lisbie, who nodded home a Dean Cox cross.
