Jabo Ibehre scored the only goal of the game to hand Colchester United a 1-0 win over Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night.

Colchester were left cursing their luck as they dominated the remainder of the first half but saw two efforts strike the frame of the Shrewsbury goal.
Brian Wilson was the first player to come close when his free kick from the edge of the box struck the crossbar before Dominic Vose watched a 25-yard strike hit the woodwork.
Colchester continued to look lively in the second half and they were rewarded with the opening goal in the 57th minute when Alex Gilbey picked out Ibehre, who created space for himself before drilling the ball home.
Marcus Bean could have doubled his side's lead just a few moments later but he failed to hit the target after being found by Vose.
Shrewsbury pushed for the equaliser in the closing stages but they failed to create clear opportunities as Colchester secured all three points.
