Phil Neville believes James Rodriguez's goal against Uruguay was the "best of the tournament" so far.
The former England defender spoke up Rodriguez's performance after the Colombian's spectacular volley that saw Uruguay crash out of the World Cup.
"James Rodriguez's goal is world class - the best of the tournament," Neville said.
"The look over the shoulder tells him he has time to turn. Paul Scholes and Xavi can do that, they have time to take in their surroundings. That awareness sets the best players apart.
"He's announced himself on the world stage. What I like about him is that he's always on the move and looking for space."
Colombia will now face Brazil on Friday in the quarter-finals.
