Yannick Bolasie has called for his Congo DR teammates to improve in front of goal following their 1-1 Africa Cup of Nations draw with Zambia on Sunday.
Bolasie was on target but Florent Ibenge's side could only manage a point from their Group B curtain-raiser in Ebebiyin.
The Leopards dominated for large spells without finding an elusive second, and the Crystal Palace winger demands an improvement in their next outing against Cape Verde on Thursday.
"I'm happy I scored, but overall I'm disappointed. I think that in this game we wasted our chances," he told reporters.
"On another day we would have won. Okay, we got a point, but we are disappointed. Collectively we should have taken all three points.
"We conceded very early which made it hard, but we did enough to win."
Congo DR are currently 57th in the FIFA world rankings.
