Flamengo star Ronaldinho has praised former Brazil teammate Adriano, calling the striker a "great player".
Adriano, 30, was released from Corinthians earlier in the month, but Ronaldinho is in no doubt as to his abilities.
"I still do not really know what is going on, but all the media is talking about it. Adriano is Adriano, but he is a great player who on the pitch would benefit any club in the world," Ronaldinho told Lancenet.
Adriano has previously played for Inter Milan and Roma.
