Coventry City midfielder James Maddison has signed his first professional contract with the club until 2018.
The 18-year-old academy product has made three first-team appearances for the Sky Blues since his debut back in August.
"I've been extremely impressed with James's attitude and ability which is why we were so keen to secure a long-term deal for him," manager Steven Pressley told the club's official website.
"His willingness to learn and do extra to improve was a crucial reason in offering him his first professional deal. We're excited by this signing and we believe James can have an extremely bright future at this club."
Coventry continue their League One campaign on Saturday when they entertain Walsall.
