Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis has said that this afternoon's 2-2 draw with Peterborough United "feels like a defeat" following Micheal Bostwick's injury-time leveller.
Vadaine Oliver and Ajay Leitch-Smith had put home side in front after 21 minutes at the Alexandra Stadium, but Tyrone Barnett reduced the arrears in first-half stoppage time.
Davis thought that his team would hang on for all three points - which would have seen them go 13th in League One this evening - but Bostwick pounced at the death to rescue a draw for Darren Ferguson's men.
"I thought we'd see it through," PA quotes Davis as saying. "I couldn't see them breaching us. I was confident we'd see the second half through.
"I think with the position that we were in, it feels like a defeat - but I'd have taken a point at the start.
"Overall I was pleased. We haven't been playing well, but we more than matched them. I thought it was a good performance against a team who's going to be up there."
Crewe are just two place above the drop zone with one win from five games.
