Crewe Alexandra assistant manager Neil Baker has revealed that the club have offered a contract to midfielder Abdul Osman.
The 25-year-old, who is a free agent following his release by Greek side Kerkyra, has featured in two of the Railwaymen's pre-season matches as a trialist.
"We have heard nothing from his representatives just yet," Baker told The Sentinel.
"He won't be playing in any more games for us unless he signs. We have made him an offer and no doubt other people have as well.
"He will do what players do now and decide what he thinks is the best deal for him."
Ghana-born Osman already has a wealth of Football League experience under his belt, having made 104 appearances for Northampton Town between 2008 and 2011.
