Steve Davis has conceded that he would like to bolster his goalkeeping options at Crewe Alexandra.
A foot injury suffered by Dave Richards has left Davis with Ben Garratt as the only senior option between the posts at Gresty Road.
As a result, Davis revealed that he has already made "a couple of enquiries" with regards to a loan arrival.
"I would like to bring in another goalkeeper on emergency loan because we are going to be without Dave for a while," he told the club's official website.
"I have made a couple of enquiries in regards to goalkeepers. I would like an older one who could come in and do a job if necessary."
Crewe are next in action tomorrow evening when they play host to Southend United.
