Niko Kovac insists that Croatia will look to dominate the game when they take on Cameroon on Wednesday.

Croatia head coach Niko Kovac has insisted that his side will be set up to attack Cameroon when the two sides meet on Wednesday night.

Kovac admits that his players found it difficult to cause problems for Brazil as they were defeated 3-1 on the opening night of the tournament, but he is hoping to be in full control against the Indomitable Lions.

"Against Cameroon it will be a completely different game," the 42-year-old told reporters. "It was difficult to attack Brazil - we had to look through counterattacks - but against Cameroon we will have greater ball possession and seek dominance.

"The first goal will be an advantage - it would be good to go in to half-time with a positive result. We know all about Cameroon, we analysed them like Brazil and will set our tactics accordingly."

Luka Modric is expected to shake off a foot injury to provide Croatia with a boost in midfield.
