Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has said that that a strong run in the FA Cup would make life even sweeter for him following his return to the club.
The 22-year-old rejoined the Eagles on deadline day, making his loan move from Manchester United permanent after failing to break into the first team at Old Trafford under Louis van Gaal.
However, Zaha has flourished at Palace this season and feels that he and his teammates are producing their best form under new boss Alan Pardew.
"A decent cup run would be the icing on the cake for us," Zaha told reporters. "We are playing quite well right now. We just have the confidence to play well against any team.
"I am back home. Everything is local to me – my family and friends. I just play football and go home with a smile on my face.
"Our chances in the cup? I don't know but it seems if you are playing well then any team has a chance of winning it."
Palace play Liverpool in the fifth round of the FA Cup later today.
