How are Crystal Palace's players performing out on loan?

:Headline: How are Crystal Palace's players performing out on loan?:
With the 2022-23 season having been halted due to the September international break, Sports Mole takes a look at how Crystal Palace's loan players are performing away from Selhurst Park.

When Patrick Vieira replaced Roy Hodgson, Crystal Palace gave the Frenchman the freedom to make changes to the first-team setup and below.

As well as continuing to consolidate the club in the Premier League, Vieira is aware that the club's board would like to see more academy players eventually make the step up to the senior ranks.

However, for that to be achieved, the Eagles must continue to go through the process of developing their prospects, many of whom are currently out on loan.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how the young Palace contingent are faring during their time away from Selhurst Park.

WHICH PLAYERS ARE FINDING IT BENEFICIAL?

Having made two substitute outings for Palace in the Premier League last season, the next stage of Jesurun Rak-Sakyi's development was to achieve game time in the EFL.

That has been coming at Charlton Athletic, the winger already chipping in with two goals and two assists from six starts in League One.

Scott Banks is having similar success at Bradford City, making six starts at Valley Parade with a goal and an assist coming from those outings.

Down in the National League, Reece Hannam has made eight starts for Bromley in what is his first experience of senior football.

Backup goalkeeper Remi Matthews has been an ever-present for St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership, while midfielder Malachi Boateng is impressing in the second tier North of the border for Queen's Park, making five starts.

WHICH PLAYERS NEED MORE TIME?

Many expected Luke Plange to be operating at a higher level than the Belgian second tier this season, but the former Derby County loanee is now at Molenbeek.

The 19-year-old already has one goal and one assist from two appearances, and defender Jake O'Brien has four games for the same team.

Rob Street's stint at Shrewsbury Town is very much a work in progress, the forward having made one start and two substitute outings in League One.

Meanwhile, left-back Kelvin Agho has recently linked up with Samorin in the Slovakian second tier.

WHO MAY NEED TO RETURN TO SELHURST PARK IN JANUARY?

Palace have already made the decision to cut short Tayo Adaramola's loan spell at Coventry City after the left-back was restricted to just one outing in the EFL Cup.

The jury also remains out on David Boateng, who has been given just 73 minutes across two outings with Queen's Park, and there appears to be a chance that he will be recalled in January.
