Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has lamented the "one mistake" that he feels cost his side the game in their 1-0 loss to Leicester City this afternoon.
Riyad Mahrez pounced on a misplaced pass by Brede Hangeland to feed Jamie Vardy, who scored to net his 10th league goal of the season, but Pardew felt his side "deserved something from the game".
"We've made one mistake and it's been costly," Pardew told BBC Sport. "We were better second half and certainly deserved something from the game.
"It was a tight game, Leicester weren't really going anywhere and it was a mistake that cost us the game.
"I thought we did a pretty good job today."
Leicester's win at the King Power Stadium has extended their cushion over sixth-place Palace to five points.
