Scott Dann: 'Crystal Palace haven't learned lessons'

Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann admits that his side have failed to learn from their mistakes after conceding four times from set pieces during the 5-4 loss to Swansea.

Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann has criticised his side for failing to learn from their mistakes following the 5-4 defeat to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.

Palace have been vulnerable from set pieces so far this season and conceded four more goals via that route during the nine-goal thriller in South Wales on their way to a sixth straight defeat.

The Eagles had recovered from 3-1 down to lead 4-3 going into stoppage time, and Dann admitted that losing from such a position is hard to take.

"I don't think we can put it into words. The way the changing room is feeling, it's a difficult one to take and I'm not sure at this minute what the right thing to say is," he told reporters.

"You would like to think when you go 3-1 down and fight your way to get back ahead that you should go on and see the game out and we obviously didn't do that.

"It's a crazy game and difficult to take. We haven't learned our lesson and the sooner we do that the better for everyone involved."

The defeat leaves Palace only out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
