Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has suggested that only Christian Benteke can improve his fortunes in front of goal.
Benteke has only scored three goals in 32 Premier League outings since the start of last season, and the Belgium international again failed to contribute against Liverpool on Monday night.
However, Hodgson has indicated that he plans to keep faith in the forward, saying that the 27-year-old just needs a bit of luck in the final third.
At a press conference, Hodgson told reporters: "He needs that break that all front players need. Unfortunately when you are a front player and you are signed for relatively big money and you are a big name player, if you are not scoring goals then you unfortunately you are going to be under the microscope.
"There is nothing we can do to help other than show our confidence in him and hope that the break will come for him one day and it will lead to a flood of goals."
Benteke could feature when Palace face Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday afternoon.
