Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has expressed his pride after his side reached the Championship playoff final courtesy of a 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion this evening.
Wilfried Zaha scored twice in the second leg to secure a 2-0 aggregate victory, booking a place at Wembley against fellow playoff finalists Watford in the process.
Holloway believes that his side came into the match as underdogs and is backing them to pull off another shock against Watford at Wembley.
"I said a couple of weeks ago that we had a turned a corner and today is further evidence of that. We came here and everyone said we didn't have a chance, but we did it and who is to say we can't do it against Watford in the final too?" said Holloway.
"Watford are a fantastic team, but so are we. I'm so proud I'm bursting, absolutely bursting."
The playoff final will take place on May 27.
