Crystal Palace caretaker boss Keith Millen has hailed his side's performance as they played out a 0-0 draw in their clash against Queens Park Rangers.
The Eagles were playing their first match since Neil Warnock was sacked on Saturday, but they managed to claim a valuable point against Harry Redknapp's fellow strugglers.
Millen told BBC Sport: "I've got to give the lads a load of credit for a battling performance. I thought we stood up to QPR fantastically.
"We were all shocked by what happened yesterday but I've seen the lads' resilience and I had no doubt they'd show up. We deserved at least a point.
"If we can continue like that, we'll be OK. We need to score more goals, but if we keep that organisation, we'll be OK."
Palace are 18th in the Premier League following their draw at Loftus Road.
