Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray has insisted that his team were unlucky to lose to Arsenal on Saturday.
The Eagles saw their recent climb up the Premier League table halted by the Gunners as they were narrowly beaten 2-1 at Selhurst Park.
Murray pulled a goal back for Palace late on before seeing another effort hit the post in stoppage time.
"We proved to ourselves that we can compete with these sides and we were unlucky not to get anything from the game," he told the club's official website.
"We've got a lot of results when the gaffer first came in and I'm sure that'll happen again. We've got to take the positives out of the game and take confidence from it."
Palace are back in action this Saturday when they travel to West Ham United in the league.
