Alan Pardew has said that he was pleased with his side's "good away performance" in their 1-0 victory at Leicester City this afternoon.
The Eagles weathered a first-half storm and Joe Ledley's second-half strike handed Pardew his third win in his last four league games.
He told BBC Sport: "I think the changes at half-time helped us, because Brede Hangeland came on and was a colossus at the back and he was significant for the goal.
"We should have seen the game out more comfortably. Leicester City have good players, their wide players certainly caused us problems.
"Nigel Pearson will be disappointed not get something but it was a good away performance from us."
The win has lifted Palace up to 13th place in the table.
