Crystal Palace midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp has said that he is expecting an "evenly-matched" contest against Watford on Sunday.
Palace have registered three points from fixtures against Fulham and Liverpool, while Watford have defeated both Brighton & Hove Albion and Burnley in their opening matches.
Schlupp has acknowledged that Watford deserve credit for their start, but the left-sided player has backed the Eagles to match their hosts at Vicarage Road.
The 25-year-old told the club's official website: "They've started well with two wins out of two and I am sure they will be really confident at home but even though they are a good team I also class us as a good team and I can see a tight contest.
"I feel we are very similar in playing styles, evenly matched and it should be a good game with us hopefully coming out with the three points."
Schlupp has made 45 appearances for Palace since leaving Leicester City for Selhurst Park in January 2017.
