Sporting Kansas City striker Kei Kamara has reportedly travelled to England in a bid to seal a move before tonight's 11pm deadline.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Norwich City, but the Canaries opted against making the deal a permanent one this summer.
However, both Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough are keen to add the Sierra Leone international to their squad, according to Sky Sports News.
It is also believed that the English duo face competition from FC Copenhagen and Rayo Vallecano for the frontman's signature.
Kamara has scored seven goals in 14 appearances for MLS side Sporting since his return from Norwich.
