Crystal Palace have announced the capture of goalkeeper Neil Alexander on a free transfer.
The newly-promoted Premier League outfit have acquired the signature of the 35-year-old in order to provide competition for Julian Speroni.
"I'm absolutely delighted," Alexander told the club's official website. "To become part of a Premier League club is massive for me. I'm very much looking forward to the season. It's going to be a very exciting season this year."
Alexander, who has had spells at Cardiff City, Ipswich Town and Rangers, has penned a one-year contract.
