Crystal Palace have reportedly approached Swansea City about a possible move for central defender Ashley Williams.
It was reported earlier in the summer that Palace boss Alan Pardew was keen to bring Williams to Selhurst Park, but it is believed that Swansea are keen to keep hold of their captain.
However, The Mirror claims that the Eagles have now made their interest official, despite being told that they would have to pay as much as £12m for the 30-year-old.
The report suggests that Everton are also considering a move for Williams, who is unsure about leaving Wales despite the promise of an improved deal from the Toffees and Palace.
Williams moved to Swansea from Stockport County in 2008.
