Crystal Palace have reportedly opened talks regarding a new contract with winger Andros Townsend.
The England international has spent the last four years at Selhurst Park, contributing 13 goals from 140 appearances in the Premier League.
However, the 29-year-old has just over eight months remaining on his contract, something which has not gone unnoticed by West Bromwich Albion.
According to Football Insider, the Palace hierarchy have moved to try to agree fresh terms with the player.
Aware that Wilfried Zaha could depart Selhurst Park in the future, club officials are seemingly keen to ensure that they do not lose two key men in quick succession.
Townsend has started each of Palace's half-a-dozen matches in the Premier League this season.
