Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Newcastle United winger Andros Townsend for a fee of £13m.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that Palace had met the release clause of Townsend, and after discussing personal terms and undergoing a medical in London, the England international has penned a five-year contract at Selhurst Park.
The 24-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm extremely delighted. I had chats with the manager and chairman before I signed and I'm pleased to a part of Crystal Palace's future. By the sounds of things it's going to be a bright one and I can't wait to get started."
Townsend leaves Newcastle after scoring four goals in 13 appearances since joining the North-East giants in January.
