Bristol City's failure to land Dwight Gayle has reportedly opened the door for a trio of clubs to make a move.
Robins boss Steve Cotterill confirmed earlier this week that a bid for the Englishman had been accepted by Crystal Palace.
However, Gayle is thought to have snubbed a switch to Ashton Gate in the hope of joining a side with strong promotion aspirations.
According to London24, Championship duo Fulham and Queens Park Rangers retain hope of landing the £6m-rated forward.
Norwich City are also said to be interested in the 25-year-old, who has fallen out of favour under Alan Pardew at Selhurst Park.
Bristol City could in turn make an approach for Brentford's Andre Gray, it is claimed, should Gayle officially decline their approach.
